Speech Time Fun is hosting a linky party for favorite SLP happenings of 2015! If you want to join in the fun, use the image and share 1-3 highlights of your year (blog/TPT/professionally/personally). Then share your favorite SLP moments that were NOT yours!
Here are mine:
1. Top 10 SLP Ailments: This post seemed to ring true for lots of fellow SLPs and it was so much fun to write!
2. Being featured in the ASHA Leader Blogjam: This has happened twice since I started blogging, but it never fails to give me such pride! I wrote about something that I often struggle with from day to day – knowing if I’m doing therapy “right?“
3. One of my favorite TPT products this year has been these Functional Vocabulary Cards. I made them because I have a new student this year whose goal is to increase functional vocabulary. I wanted a systematic way to do so. This can be used in so many different ways! I also have a holiday version in the works.
Now onto highlights from other SLP bloggers:
1. Speech Time Fun’s big reveal of who she is! I’ve “known” her for the past couple of years through the blogging world, so it was great to put a face to the name. She inspires me because it got me thinking about my own anonymity and whether or not I want to keep it that way for the future.
2. One of my favorite TPT purchases this year has been Speech Language Pirates’ WH Question Scenes – I think I probably pull it out every week! There are tons of different goals you can target and it’s very well organized!
3. Post from Rachel of Let’s Talk Speech Therapy entitled “I don’t have the easiest job in the world…and why I wouldn’t have it any other way.” We don’t and Rachel did a great job of stating why – but also reminding me why I love my job!
